RIVAS RANCH - SHIPPING, PICKUP & RANCH ROUTES

WHERE WE SHIP
Parcel shipping is offered to eligible street addresses in the contiguous 48 United States, including the District of Columbia. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, territories, international destinations or PO boxes at launch. Eligibility is checked before approving a custom meat order.
WHAT TRAVELS TOGETHER
Skincare and pet treats may ship in the same ambient package. Frozen meat always ships separately from those products. A mixed order may also need different fulfillment dates. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout or expressly agreed before payment; additional charges require your approval.
RATES AND INCLUDED SHIPPING
Skincare and pet-treat shipping charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Frozen-meat shipping is separately quoted until standard packing rates are established.
The $1,500 Shipped Quarter Beef offer includes shipping for its 70 lb beef assortment to eligible contiguous-U.S. addresses, including the West Coast. That inclusion covers the stated beef bundle, not every other item added to an order. Applicable tax is separate.
DISPATCH SCHEDULE
Skincare and pet-treat orders ship within 3 business days. Frozen meat is dispatched on Monday or Tuesday in the week after the product is ready and the required balance has cleared. The actual dispatch and fulfillment window is confirmed for your order. Processing day is not pickup or shipping day.
Frozen shipments use a service scheduled for delivery within two days and are packed for that service. There is no customer-selectable express upgrade. The ranch may select an expedited carrier service when necessary for the agreed frozen delivery. Weather or carrier problems can affect timing; we contact you regarding changes rather than knowingly ship outside the supported transit window.
FREE PICKUP CHOICES
Choose free pickup at the Tobaccoville farm by appointment, free collection at Greensboro Curb Market by arrangement, or free collection at an eligible confirmed Ranch Route stop. These are collection options, not free nationwide parcel shipping or unrestricted home delivery. Ranch Route stop days and times are posted on our Delivery & Pickup page, and we email you the exact pickup spot the week before your stop. For farm pickup and the Curb Market, wait for our confirmation before traveling.
FUTURE RESERVATIONS
You reserve a share on our website by choosing your share and paying the deposit at checkout. We hold the next open processing date for you. Current freezer stock is not a condition for reserving. Monthly, quarterly and seasonal planning windows are not guaranteed processor appointments or shipment dates.
Regular pork is usually ready about 2-3 weeks after processing. Bacon and cured products are usually ready about six weeks after processing and may travel separately. Any additional shipping cost for a later cured-product parcel is disclosed before approval.
If we cannot meet an agreed shipment date, we will contact you about revised timing and your option to cancel unshipped merchandise for a prompt refund, and obtain consent when required.
RECEIVING FROZEN MEAT
Use an accurate address and monitored email for tracking. Arrange for someone to bring the shipment inside promptly. Open it on arrival. Meat should arrive frozen, partly frozen with ice crystals, or refrigerator-cold at 40 degrees F or below, checked with a food thermometer. If it arrives above 40 degrees F, do not eat or taste it; contact us promptly with the order number, photos, arrival time and temperature reading when available.
Do not handle dry ice with bare hands; keep it away from children and pets. Bring skincare and pet-treat deliveries indoors promptly and follow their storage instructions.
PROBLEMS WITH DELIVERY
Contact us promptly about address errors, damage, missing items or missed deliveries. Address changes may not be possible after dispatch. We review the order, tracking and condition on arrival and agree on a resolution. Nothing in this policy limits rights provided by applicable law.
