Quarter Beef for Sale in North Carolina

Quarter beef · 1 to 3 people

A quarter is the easiest way to fill a freezer without signing up for a whole cow's worth of decisions. About 150 to 175 lb hanging weight of grass-fed, grass-finished beef from one animal we raised, cut to our standard sheet, ready to cook.

What it really costs

You pay by the hanging weight, the weight of the carcass after processing. Say your quarter hangs at 150 lb:

150 lb × $9.25 $1,387.50
Deposit, paid today − $500
Final invoice, due within 3 days $887.50

Want the number up front? The Set-Price quarter is $1,399, at least 75 lb of packaged meat, and we pick the cuts around how you cook: Family, Grill or Rancher + Chef.

Too far for our routes? The Shipped Quarter is a preset 70 lb box, $1,500 with shipping included, to the lower 48 and DC.

Questions people ask first

Do I get to pick the cuts?

A quarter is cut to our standard cut sheet, a little of every primal, so you don't have to fill one out. Want every cut your way? That's what a half is for.

Why is the take-home weight lower than the hanging weight?

You take home about 55 to 65% of the hanging weight. That isn't missing meat. Beef hangs to get tender and loses water while it does, and bones and trim come off. Hanging weight, explained.

When do I pay the rest?

After processing, you get a final invoice from the real hanging weight, less your deposit, due within 3 days. Extras you ask for, like beef bacon, sausage or special processing, are added to that invoice.

Can I get it halal?

Yes. Choose halal in the order form and we put your share on a halal processing date.

Do you deliver a quarter cow to Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington or Asheville?

Yes. Delivery to your door is free anywhere in North Carolina for quarter, half and whole beef. Outside NC? Ask us about the Shipped Quarter.

Is the deposit refundable?

No. Deposits, delivery and shipping are non-refundable, so pick the option that works for you before you pay.
